The Farmer Veteran Coalition "Homegrown by Heroes" label signifies more than just a product; it's a seal of continued service by veterans to their communities across the country.
For local consumers, this label represents produce cultivated by military veterans who have transitioned into farming. It signifies resilience, dedication, and a commitment to service even after leaving the military.
Choosing products bearing this label not only supports local agriculture but also honors the sacrifice and hard work of those who have served their country.
It's a symbol of trust, authenticity, and a connection to a meaningful cause, fostering pride in supporting both veterans and local agriculture.
Andrea began her service time at the United States Coast Guard Academy in 2001. She decided to transition out of the officer path into the enlisted side. She had some AMAZING experiences as a Cadet, but relished the idea of being closer to the work. She struck as a Yeoman and finished her time as a Third Class Petty Officer
Nick enlisted into the United States Coast Guard in 2007. He served his first billet at ANT Team Panama City Beach, FL. He had a great time and even served there with a local Hickman County boy. They both chose the rate of Avionics Electrical Technician. Nick left the Coast Guard as a Third Class Petty Officer.
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING YOUR LOCAL VETERAN FARMERS
